North Norfolk Paintings

North Norfolk is my favourite place to unwind. Especially in Winter. Bracing beaches of sand, shingle and surreal light in mid February. The amazing idiosyncratic Wells beach: it can rain anywhere but Wells is always a haven of sunshine. Every opportunity takes me back there to stay with friends or go camping with views of a big sky.

This most recent series of sea-scapes show a relationship between nature and how we engage with it. Tiny interventions within the landscape show a human footprint.. a frizbee, a pile of pebbles, a ball thrown for a dog to fetch from the waves.
