Studio Theatre is one of the most challenging venues to work with.The brief includes making a set that can flat pack into an economy van with one or two to cover the get in and out ( usually performer and lighting audio tech of one ). Minimal budgets and a black box in many locations add constraints – stage dimensions, rig heights, access get in time frame. It is filled with impossible challenges that are a joy to overcome.
